1 / 48 page DS92LV0421, DS92LV0422 www.ti.com SNLS325C – MAY 2010 – REVISED APRIL 2013 DS92LV0421 / DS92LV0422 10 - 75 MHz Channel Link II Serializer/Deserializer with LVDS Parallel Interface Check for Samples: DS92LV0421, DS92LV0422 1 FEATURES DESCRIPTION The DS92LV0421 (serializer) and DS92LV0422 2 • General (deserializer) chipset translates a Channel Link LVDS – 5-Channel (4 Data + 1 Clock) Channel Link video interface (4 LVDS Data + LVDS Clock) into a LVDS Parallel Interface Supports 24-bit high-speed serialized interface over a single CML Data 3-bit Control at 10 – 75 MHz pair. – AC Coupled STP Interconnect up to 10 The DS92LV0421 and DS92LV0422 enable Meters in Length applications that currently use the popular Channel – Integrated Serial CML Terminations Link or Channel Link style devices to seamlessly upgrade to an embedded clock interface to reduce – AT–SPEED BIST Mode and Status Pin interconnect cost or ease design challenges. The – Optional I2C Compatible Serial Control Bus parallel LVDS interface also reduces FPGA I/O pins, – Power Down Mode Minimizes Power board trace count and alleviates EMI issues, when Dissipation compared to traditional single-ended wide bus interfaces. – 1.8V or 3.3V Compatible Control Pin Interface Programmable transmit de-emphasis, receive equalization, on-chip scrambling and DC balancing – >8 kV ESD (HBM) Protection enables longer distance transmission over lossy – -40° to +85°C Temperature Range cables and backplanes.
