5.27.3.1 One Device Operation

The basic configuration of a single device is shown in Figure 5-14.

5.27.3.2 Two Devices Operation

To increase the total current capability, or number of outputs, a single slave controller can be added as

shown in Figure 5-15

In this configuration, the master senses that there is one slave controller, and distributes the CLKIO signal.

The slave controller senses the zero-volt level on its PHSEL pin and delays the proper number of CLKIO

pulses to be 90° out of phase with the master.
