Each channel has an individually- • VCC: 3.0 V to 5.5 V adjustable, pulse width modulation (PWM) grayscale (GS) brightness control with 65,536 steps and 128 • Constant-Current Accuracy: steps of constant-current dot correction (DC). DC – Channel-to-Channel: ±0.6% (typ), ±2% (max) adjusts brightness deviation between channels. All – Device-to-Device: ±1% (typ), ±4% (max) channels have a 128-step global brightness control (BC). BC adjusts brightness deviation with other LED • Data Transfer Rate: 33 MHz drivers. GS, DC, and BC data are accessible with a • Grayscale Control Clock: 33 MHz serial interface port. • Auto Display Repeat and Auto Data Refresh The TLC5948A has six error flags: LED open • Display Timing Reset detection (LOD), LED short detection (LSD), output • Power-Save Mode to Minimize VCC Current leakage detection (OLD), reference current terminal short flag detection (ISF), pre-thermal warning (PTW), • LOD and LSD with Invisible Detection and thermal error flag (TEF).
