6、涓流充电寄存器
该寄存器设置
1307 的涓流充电特性。Figure 3 简化原理图标明了涓流充电器的各个组件。涓流充电
的选择(
TCS)位(bit4 至 bit7)控制涓流充电器的选择。为防止意外驱动,只有 1010 模式下涓流充电器才
能工作。其他一切模式都不能驱动涓流充电器。
1307 上电启动时默认涓流充电功能关闭。二极管选择位
DS)(bits 2 和 bits 3)决定 VCC2 和 VCC1 之间接入一个二极管或两个二极管。当 DS 为 01 时,接入一个二
极管;当
DS 为 10 时,接入两个二极管。当 DS 为 00 或 11 时,涓流充电器停止工作,不受 TCS 的支配。RS
(bits 0 和 bits 1)决定连接 VCC2 和 VCC1 的电阻。如 Table 3 所示,电阻和二极管的选择由 RS 和 DS 位决定。

二极管和电阻的选择由用户根据电池和大电容充电所需的最大电流决定。最大电流可以根据下面的例
子进行计算:假定5V的系统电源连接VCC2,超级电容器连接VCC1。同时,假定涓流充电器已被一根二极管
和位于VCC2和VCC1之间的电阻驱动。因此,最大电流IMAX可被计算如下:
IMAX = (5.0V – diode drop) / R1 ≈ (5.0V – 0.7V) / 2kΩ ≈ 2.2mA
随着大电容开始充电,VCC2和VCC1之间的电压降减小,因而充电电流也减小。
