UWCS-AT3535-110V UWCS-AT3535-220V The Raychem underwater cable splice (UWCS) from TE is suitable for jointing of TE specified polyethylene jacketed cables, which are subject to water immersion and pressure. The splice consists of molded polyethylene inserts, which are encased in a heat recoverable sleeve. The joint is placed in a purpose-made oven, which melts the joint components with the cable jacket and, when cooled, gives a water- and pressure-tight joint with the insulated conductor connections embedded within it.
