Operating Ratings indicate conditions for which the device is functional, but do not specific performance limits. For specifications and test conditions, see the Electrical Characteristics. The specifications apply only for the test conditions listed. Some performance characteristics may degrade when the device is not operated under the listed test conditions. (2) Soldering process must comply with TI's Reflow Temperature Profile specifications. Refer to www.ti.com/packaging. Reflow temperature profiles are different for lead-free and non-lead-free packages. (3) When the input voltage (VI) at any pin exceeds power supplies (VI < GND or VI > V), the current at that pin should be limited to 5 mA. 7.2 Handling Ratings - Commercial VALUE UNIT Human body model (HBM), per ANSI/ESDA/JEDEC JS-001, all ±2500 pins. (1)Applies for TO-92 package LMT86LP. Human body model (HBM), per JESD22-A114, all pins. Applies ±2500 V for SC70 package LMT86DCK. V(ESD) Electrostatic discharge Charged device model (CDM), per JEDEC specification JESD22- ±1000 C101, all pins. (2) Applies for all parts. Machine model ESD stress voltage, per JEDEC specification JESD22-A115.(3) Applies for SC70 package LMT86DCK and ±250 V LMT86DCK-Q1. (1) JEDEC document JEP155 states that 500-V HBM allows safe manufacturing with a standard ESD control process. (2) JEDEC document JEP157 states that 250-V CDM allows safe manufacturing with a standard ESD control process. (3) The machine model is a 200pF capacitor discharged directly into each pin. 7.3 ESD Ratings - Automotive VALUE UNIT Human-body model (HBM), per JESD22-A114, all ±2500 pins. (1) Applies for SC70 package LMT86DCK-Q1. V(ESD) Electrostatic discharge V Charged-device model (CDM), per JEDEC specification JESD22-C101, all pins. (2) Applies for ±1000 SC70 package LMT86DCK-Q1. (1) JEDEC document JEP155 states that 500-V HBM allows safe manufacturing with a standard ESD control process.
