Exposure to any Absolute Maximum Rating condition for extended periods may affect device reliability and lifetime. Note 2: The LTC4065L is tested under pulsed load conditions such that TJ ≈ TA. The LTC4065L is guaranteed to meet performance specifica- tions from 0°C to 70°C. Specifications over the –40°C to 85°C operating temperature range are assured by design, characterization and correlation with statistical process controls. Note 3: Failure to solder the exposed backside of the package to the PC board ground plane will result in a thermal resistance much higher than rated. ELECTRICAL CHARACTERISTICS The l denotes specifications which apply over the full operating temperature range, otherwise specifications are TA = 25°C. VCC = 5V, VBAT = 3.8V, VEN = 0V unless otherwise specified. Note 5: IC/10 is expressed as a fraction of measured full charge current with indicated PROG resistor. Note 6: This IC includes overtemperature protection that is intended to protect the device during momentary overload conditions. Junction temperature will exceed 125°C when overtemperature protection is active. Continuous operation above the specified maximum operating junction temperature may impair device reliability. Note 7: This parameter is not applicable to the LTC4065LX. |
