4 / 122 page  LEAD LLENGTH AAND CCABLE LLENGTH IINFORMATION E-Z-Hook offers a selection of standard length test leads, patch cords, and cable assemblies. We also offer custom lengths to fit special requirements. All length measurements are made in inches, see diagrams below for measuring examples: Standard lengths in inches for test lead aand ppatch ccord assemblies: Standard lengths in inches for cable assemblies: FIELD SSERVICING IINFORMATION Most hooks are designed to be field serviceable. To replace a lead wire, pull on the plunger until it slips free of the body. Strip lead wire ¾" (19mm), feed wire through plunger and wrap around terminal as shown in figure 1. Solder and cut off excess wire at solder point. Reassemble part, making sure the terminal and nylon fins enter their respective grooves. Keep slack in lead wire pulled out while assembling to prevent binding. 1 SETS && CUSTOM CCOLOR Standard Sets: R/B = 1 red, 1 black S = 1 each of 10 colors S(color)= 10 of one color S14 = Set of 10 solid, plus 4 kilo color* S16 = Set of 10 solid, plus 6 kilo color* (Ex. 204-12W-S or 204-12W-R/B) Muti-color Unit: *Kilo-Color offers 1000 different color combination choices. See Kilo-Color info on inside back cover. COLOR && SSET ORDERING INFORMATION There are a many different color options when ordering E-Z-Hook parts. Please refer to the chart to the right for set information. Standard CColors: Black, brown, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, violet, gray, and white. Select the part number supplied in the product section, then select your lead or cable length and color. Example: 704XR-18-RED (Part No.-Length-Color). Variations of each hook may be ordered in place of the standard hook. Ordering information is provided at the beginning of each section.
