TMP300 SBOS335C – JUNE 2005 – REVISED JANUARY 2011 www.ti.com APPLICATIONS INFORMATION To set the TMP300 to trip at a preset value, calculate The TMP300 is a thermal sensor designed for the RSET resistor value according to Equation 1 or over-temperature protection circuits in electronic Equation 2: systems. The TMP300 uses a set resistor to program the trip temperature of the digital output. An additional high-impedance (210k Ω) analog voltage output (1) provides the temperature reading.
