Scope: Added Universal Serial Bus (USB). Added TMS320F2806xU devices. USB is available only on TMS320F2806xU devices. Added a second Serial Communications Interface module, SCI-B, to the 80-pin PN/PFP F2806x devices. Changed package classification of 80-pin PFP package and 100-pin PZP package from "Low-Profile Quad Flatpack (LQFP)" to "Thermally Enhanced Thin Quad Flatpack (HTQFP)" See table below. LOCATION ADDITIONS, DELETIONS, AND MODIFICATIONS Global • Added Universal Serial Bus (USB). • Added TMS320F2806xU devices. USB is available only on TMS320F2806xU devices. • Added a second Serial Communications Interface module, SCI-B, to the 80-pin PN/PFP F2806x devices. • Changed package classification of 80-pin PFP package and 100-pin PZP package from "Low-Profile Quad Flatpack (LQFP)" to "Thermally Enhanced Thin Quad Flatpack (HTQFP)". • Appended "over recommended operating conditions (unless otherwise noted)" to titles of all Switching Characteristics tables. Section 1.1 Features: • "Serial Port Peripherals" feature: – Changed "Up to Two Serial Communications Interface (SCI) [UART] Modules" to "Two Serial Communications Interface (SCI) [UART] Modules" – Added "One Universal Serial Bus (USB) 2.0 Module" feature and its sub-features • "2806x Packages" feature: – Changed package classification of 80-pin PFP package and 100-pin PZP package from "Low-Profile Quad Flatpack (LQFP)" to "Thermally Enhanced Thin Quad Flatpack (HTQFP)" Figure 1-1 Functional Block Diagram: • Added USB-0 peripheral Figure 1-2 Peripheral Blocks: • Added "USB (DMA-accessible)" block Table 3-1 Hardware Features: • Updated Package Type • Serial Communications Interface (SCI): Changed the number of SCIs for the 80-pin PN/PFP F2806x devices from 1 to 2 • Added Universal Serial Bus (USB) • Added F2806xU devices • Added footnote about USB being present only in TMS320F2806xU devices.
