Command Field Descriptions AFI : The Application Family Identifier (AFI) is used to select the family and sub-family of cards which the PCD is targeting. Only PICCs with a matching AFI code are permitted to answer an REQB or WUPB command. Table 5 describes the AFI matching criteria. An AFI of $00 activates all Type B PICCs. Table 5.
