Each channel has an individually adjust- able 4096-step grayscale PWM brightness control • VCC = 3.0 V to 5.5 V and a 64-step constant-current sink (dot correction). • Serial Data Interface, SPI Compatible The dot correction adjusts the brightness variations • Controlled In-Rush Current between LED channels and other LED drivers. Both grayscale control and dot correction are accessible • 30-MHz Data Transfer Rate via a serial interface. A single external resistor sets • CMOS Level I/O the maximum current value of all 16 channels. • Error Information The TLC5941 features two error information circuits. – LOD: LED Open Detection The LED open detection (LOD) indicates a broken or – TEF: Thermal Error Flag disconnected LED at an output terminal. The thermal error flag (TEF) indicates an overtemperature con- dition.
