Low Frequency Power Amplifier

Description:

The NTE7157 is an audio power integrated circuit in a 16–Lead DIP type package with built–in two

channels designed for use in a portable radio cassette tape recorder with power ON/OFF switch.

Features:

D High Power:

POUT = 2.5W/Ch Typ (VCC = 9V, RL = 4Ω, f = 1kHz, THD = 10%)

POUT = 3.0W/Ch Typ (VCC = 9V, RL = 3Ω, f = 1kHz, THD = 10%)

D Voltage Gain:

GV = 45.0dB Typ (Rf = 120Ω, f = 1kHz)

GV = 56.5dB Typ (Rf = 0Ω, f = 1kHz)

D Small Quiescent Current: ICCQ = 21mA Typ (VCC = 9V, VIN = 0)

D Ripple Rejection Ratio: RR = –52dB Typ (VCC = 9V, fripple = 100Hz, Rg = 600Ω)

D Crosstalk: CT = –50dB Typ (VCC = 9V, f = 1kHz, Rg = 600Ω)

D Output Noise Voltage: Vno = 0.3mVrms Typ (VCC = 9V, Rg = 10kΩ, BW = 20Hz to 20kHz)

D Stand–By Switch

D Built–In Thermal Shut Down Protection Circuit
